RACING CATEGORIES
- Lion’s Cup: Open to all adult competitors. This is a new race event, the Rescue race. Four team members row down the moat, ‘Rescue’ an additional 2 team members at the duck feeding station and then row back to the finish line.
- Bishop’s Cup: Open to all adult competitors who will race down to the turning station and back.
- Community Challenge Cup: Open to all adult competitors who will row one length of the moat backwards
- Adult/ Junior obstacle races: These will be open to all teams in their age groups to compete in an obstacle course to be announced on the day.
- Junior challenge shield: Open to junior teams aged 13-17 at the time of race. This race goes to the turning circle and back.
- Junior sprint challenge: Open to junior teams aged 13-17 and will be a sprint race in one direction of the course.
- Junior backwards race: Open to junior teams aged 13-17 rowing one direction of the course backwards

- Best raft design - open to all for the most ingeniously designed Raft. Adult and Junior categories. Please note if adults and juniors are sharing a raft only one raft can be judged.
- FANCY DRESS – open to all for the best and most imaginatively dressed crew. Adult and junior categories are awarded.
